A capacity building workshopwas organized on Tuesday, 17th of January 2023 at ARMTI Gudu District by the Farm Inputs Supports Services Department of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for Inspectors across the nation each state being represented by an Inspector.

In his opening remark, the Director, FISSD, Kwaido Sani, who was represented by Deputy Director, FISSD, Ishaku Buba, stated that one inspector was selected from the 37 States of the Federation to be trained on the promotion of organic fertilizer preparation and use at local level using eco-friendly agricultural technologies even though they had been trained in the past.

The inspectors were also reminded of their duty to uphold and enforce the National Fertilizer Quality Control Act as anybody producing or distributing fertilizer in Nigeria must do so in line with the set standards in terms of quantity & quality and if found wanting especially in terms of adulteration face10 years imprisonment.
